MainStreet Libertyville Dickens of a Holiday

It’s an exciting and festive time in Downtown Libertyville during Dickens of a Holiday on Saturday, December 11th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. We hope your whole family can join in the festivities! Santa will be in town from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. & 1 p.m.-3 p.m. to spread cheer throughout. Visit Santa in his sleigh and have your picture taken. Donations to MainStreet appreciated; MainStreet will also be collecting nonperishable goods for the Libertyville Township Food Pantry! Visit the Children’s Holiday Shoppe at Petranek’s Pharmacy in their Community Room where children can purchase gifts for their family with the help of Santa’s Elves! No adults allowed inside while the children shop for their loved ones. Items priced up to $6. The Victorian Tea makes its return from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. - one day only on December 4th at the Libertyville Civic Center

MainStreet Libertyville Victorian Tea

Those of you who have previously attended know that this is a great event. This year’s event will again be an authentic experience, catered by Gerri’s High Tea, complete with finger sandwiches and pastries exquisitely arranged on fine china, accompanied by Victorian silverware, vintage linens, and fine English tea, beautifully set at tables of eight. There is one seating on December 4th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Try to arrive by 10:45am so that you can be seated and visit with your table before the tea begins. Children must be seated with an adult. Call the office at 847-680-0336 to register. If you’re registering yourself but would like to sit with someone else, please call the office so we can make sure you’re seated together.
