Continuing an over-fifty year Libertyville tradition, the Libertyville Historical Society welcomes visitors to experience a Victorian Christmas at the Ansel B. Cook Home.

During the holiday season, the 1878 Cook Home is decked in Christmas finery adding to the beautiful furnishings and artifacts on display. Highlights of the tour include a fully-decorated Christmas tree, seven Italian marble fireplaces, and the intricately-carved oak staircase festooned with greenery.

The first floor of the Cook Home will be open until 9 pm on Friday, November 25 after the Libertyville Tree Lighting. Suggested donations for the tour are $2/adults, $1/seniors and youth ages 5-18.
