Manchester Square and Village West Parking Lot
Pedestrian Area Landscape and Hardscape Improvements
The Village has contracted with R. Salinas Landscaping, Inc. of Round Lake Beach, IL to perform landscape and hardscape improvements within the pedestrian area at the north end of the delivery and drop-off lane in the Village Hall parking lot (immediately south of the Manchester Square building, between Tommy’s Pizza and Curtis Frame). Work will involve removal of existing concrete and asphalt areas, new concrete installation, and installation of new plantings, benches, and a trash receptacle. Additionally, the decorative paved “star” on the pedestrian way near the south end of the delivery lane will be re-installed with brick pavers. This project will complete gaps in the streetscape which runs along the rear of the buildings.
We anticipate construction work beginning on or about Wednesday, October 11, 2017, and expect the work to take approximately two weeks to complete. As always, the construction schedule is subject to change or delay due to weather or other factors.
During the construction work, please use extra caution when driving or walking in the work area.
