[ARCHIVED] College of Lake County offers one-on-one free counseling for small businesses

The Illinois Small Business Development and International Trade Center at the College of Lake County has counselors who provide free, confidential, one-on-one advice from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays at the Grayslake Campus. A limited number of appointments are also available at the Lakeshore Campus in Waukegan, the Southlake Campus in Vernon Hills and the Lake Villa District Library. English or Spanish counseling is available.

Counselors, who are seasoned small business owners, offer advice on developing a business or financial plan and forming marketing and product plans. They also can provide expertise in securing loans, pursuing export opportunities and navigating government regulations.
