[ARCHIVED] Energy Efficiency Pays---Incentives Available

ENERGY INCENTIVES
The IL Department of Commerce & Economic Opportunity (DCEO) is administering the Energy Efficiency Portfolio programs in partnership with Ameren Illinois utilities and ComEd. The programs are designed to provide incentives in the form of cash rebates or grants to Ameren Illinois or ComEd electric utility customers who are installing, retrofitting or constructing a new facility using energy efficiency electric products. This can include lighting, HVAC, motors, coolers, chillers and outdoor street lighting.

Ameren Illinois (www.ameren.com) and ComEd(www.comed.com) are providing the funds to their business, industrial and private sector customers, including residential users. Easy projects include gyms, energy efficient T/5 - T/8 fluorescent fixtures and LED Exit signs.

The file contains the guidelines for the Standard and Custom incentive programs. New construction is included under Custom but anyone interested in new construction should call the office first. Tom Coe is the new construction program manager and his number is 217/785-2433. Andrea Reiff is the manager of the Standard Incentives and she can be reached at 217/785-0164.

The web site where all the forms are housed is www.illinoisenergy.org. A link to the general guidelines follows. Additional paperwork is found under the Standard and Custom sites. http://www.illinoisbiz.biz/NR/rdonlyres/B2F2242C-6B31-4367-8C3C-6B3FA472B8AE/0/PulicSectorElectricEfficiencyGuidelines101508a.pdf
