MAPS
Please take note, there are a couple short downhill sections between when the route leaves the pavement behind Adler School and where the Des Plaines River Trail crosses under Buckley Rd. (RT. 137).  Please exercise caution as there may be patches of loose gravel and some erosion in these areas.  The routes below are only suggested routes, you may ride as short or as far as you feel comfortable with.
5 Mile Loop
For the 5 mile loop, it is suggested to turn right (south) once entering onto the Independence Grove Trail.  This route tends to be easier for less advanced riders and children.

2.5 mile loop
For the 2.5 mile loop, the route follows the same path as the 5 mile loop.  Instead of going around the Independence Grove Trail, the suggested turnaround is at the restroom just off the path when entering into Independence Grove.
