Skip Patching & Public Alley Resurfacing Project

The year’s work will address the remaining alleys in the Village that have not recently been resurfaced and pavement patching in select locations (“skip-patching”) on approximately 15 different streets throughout the Village.

 Village Engineering Staff designed and combined the alley resurfacing and skip-patching into a single bid package in an effort to maximize quantities and obtain lower overall unit prices.   The contractor for this project is Schroeder Asphalt Services, Inc.  It is anticipated that construction will commence in late summer. 

Libertyville Public Alleys to be Resurfaced

• Alley Number 1 is located within the Blocks bounded by Fourth Street on the west and North Avenue on the North.
• Alley Number 2 is located within the Block bounded by Second Street on the west, Broadway on the south, Church Street on the north and Third Street on the east.
• Alley Number 3 is located within the Block bounded by Fourth Street on the west, Broadway on the south and Fifth Street on the east.
• Alley Number 4 is located within the Block bounded by Prairie Avenue on the west, Second Street on the east and East Sunnyside Avenue on the North.
• Alley Number 5 is located north of the Alley Number 4 on Sunnyside Avenue.
• Alley Number 6 is located within the Block bounded by Wright Court on the east and Broadway on the south.
• Alley number 7 is located within the Block of bounded by S. Stewart Avenue on the east and Florence Court on the South.
• Ridgeway Lane is located within the Camelot Sub-division and north of the IL Route 176 and south of the Des Plaines River
