The Village's waste hauler, Groot Industries will provide holiday tree disposal to all residential customers between January 2 and January 25, at no extra cost. Please place your trees curbside.
To compost holiday trees visit the Lake County Forest Preserve ("LCFP"). The LCFP is offering tree recycling through February 1st. Donate it to the LCFP and they will recycle it into woodchips for trails and landscaping at forest preserves in Lake County. Bring your undecorated, real tree to a drop-off site by February 1.
