Free Wood Chips
Year round the Public Works Department has free wood chips available to residents. Residents wishing to use the free wood chips must pick up and transport the wood chips themselves.

The wood chips are from Village parkway and parks trees that have not been infected with Emerald Ash Borer disease. Trees infected with EAB are chipped separately and within guidelines set by the State of Illinois Department of Agriculture.
Location
The wood chips are located at the front entrance of the Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 1532 Artaius Parkway.
